Software Developer – Data Science

Intellicheck seeks an experienced Software Developer – Data Science  to join our rapidly growing company.

In this role you will:

• Partner with a cross-functional team of data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to deliver a product.
• Leverage a broad stack of technologies, such as Python, AWS, Spark, and more to explore insights and patterns with large volumes of data.
• Build machine learning models through all phases of development, from design through training, evaluation, validation, and implementation.
• Work cross-functionally to identify business opportunities for data science, collecting appropriate labels for learning, establishing actionable metrics, and creating reusable model validations and risk mitigation.
• Communicate results to key stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.

• Forward-thinking: You consistently research and evaluate emerging technologies. You stay current on published state-of-the-art methods, technologies, and applications by seeking opportunities to apply them.
• Technical: You’re comfortable with open-source languages and are passionate about developing further. You have hands-on experience developing data science solutions using open-source tools and cloud computing platforms.
• Statistical: You’ve built machine learning models from start to finish. You have experience with various techniques such as classification, clustering, time series, and neural networks.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience in open-source programming languages for large scale data analysis.
• Experience with machine learning.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with AWS or other cloud providers.
• At least 4 years of experience in Python or R for large scale data analysis.
• At least 4 years of experience with machine learning.
• At least 4 years of experience with custom code-driven machine learning projects using packages such as XGBoost, pySpark.
• At least 4 years of experience with one of the following modeling techniques: regression, classification, clustering, anomaly detection, or feature selection.
• Experience with SQL.
• Experience with Elasticsearch.
